Welfare And Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) training is a package developed to provide those working in the licensed industry with an awareness of vulnerability, their responsibilities it and how to deal with it.
WAVE Training aims to increase the skills, knowledge and confidence of those working in licensed premises focusing on identifying vulnerability and making appropriate interventions.
This training session coincides with Spiking Intensification Week – an initiative aimed at combating drink spiking incidents, with activities planned to raise awareness and improve police investigations.
